Representative Experience:
Alex Sidles earned his Juris Doctorate at the University of Washington School of Law. During law school, Mr. Sidles clerked at the King County Public Defenders, Earthjustice, and the Washington Forest Law Center. He also participated in several of the law school’s environmental clinics.

Mr. Sidles works out of Bricklin & Newman’s Seattle office. He has worked on local land use cases in several jurisdictions in Washington, as well as cases involving the state Forest Practices Act and Growth Management Act, and the federal Endangered Species Act. He has appeared before the Seattle Hearing Examiner and Washington State Superior Court.

Mr. Sidles is a strong advocate for the environment. He believes protecting the environment means preserving high-quality, beautiful spaces for people as well as wildlife. He loves working with clients to protect our neighborhoods, our natural spaces, and our beautiful corner of the world.

Before joining Bricklin & Newman, Mr. Sidles was a staff sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. He is a veteran of five combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Previously, Mr. Sidles taught high school and elementary English for several years in the outer islands of Chuuk and Yap, Federated States of Micronesia.
